We had the chicken sandwich with fries and the chicken strips with the French toast. Three strips doesn’t sound like much but they’re some fat pieces. I got full off of 2 pieces and one slice of the French toast. The chicken comes in different grades of spiciness that you can choose. I recommend between mild and medium. There are 3 levels of hot. I have only tried the 1st level and that was too hot for me. It starts out tasting ok and then it’s an intense burn.
Wow just tried the red chickz hot chicken! It’s really good! The hot flavors are super hot, def recommend the medium if you’re not used to hot flavor. And they have $2 chicken tender deal on Thursday would def recommend to check it out!!
I went to finally try this spot on a Thursday for $2 tenders. Ordered 2 cool (less than mild), 2 glow (mild), and 2 spark (medium). They all came out looking the same and once I tried it all, there wasn't much of a difference in spice level. I could've tried the next tier after Spark --- I think .The batter was great - loved the crunch and crispyness of it.I thought they would've been stingy about the $2 tenders but the size of the tenders were a good size.Staff was nice and efficient for a busy Thursday lunchtime. There's outdoor seating if you can't find a spot inside.
Chicken was cut up in small pieces like I asked and how I like it (fully cooked) crispy crunchy breaded chicken. Juicy on the inside. Potato wedges were cooked right as well. Seasoned well.
Hot like fresh out of the fryer hot for wings. Once delivered, definitely don't bite straight in unless you want to be burned. Really well fried, super crispy outside coating and tender juicy inside. Spices at mild were barely spicy, flavor was heavy chili. The chicken sandwich was ok. Coleslaw was fresh and the wedge fries yummy. The milkshake was overpowering sweet for our tastes.Service was friendly and food took a while but it's freshly fried, so worth it. The atmosphere was hot considering the sun shines straight into your eyes for seating during afternoons.
